Q: What is a credit card invoice?

This is proof of the credit amount used over the credit period, minus any recognised earlier repayments (credit transfer or top-up), which need to be paid by the moss customer (via credit transfer or direct debit).


Q: How can I disable the automatic “Amount due” email notification for credit card invoices?

We automatically enable the email notification that lets you know the amount that is due for your credit card invoices.

To disable the notifications:

  1. Navigate to “Settings

  2. Then click on the “Notifications” section.

  3. Under the subsection “Wallets”, you can select the option to enable/disable emails and SMS for the credit card invoices.


Q: Which transactions will be reflected on the credit card invoice?

The transactions that will be reflected on the credit card invoice include any card spend and earlier credit payments.


Q: What is the difference between a “credit card invoice” and “statement”?

Credit card invoices are used to understand how much money as a Financial admin is required to pay back. Statements are a summary of transactions which are used to monitor the cash flows via balance and leveraged for reconciliation.


Q: When viewing my credit card invoice, I only see the “Amount Due”. Where can I find the credit payment that is due for this credit period?

There are 2 ways to view the amount to pay the credit used:

  1. The credit card invoice status

  2. Moss statements


Q: How do you calculate the “Amount due”?

It is the sum of incoming and outgoing transactions, with any excess amounts available/generated from the previous periods.


Q: What does “Amount Due” mean?

This is the total amount the customer owes to Moss as of that statement date.


Q: What does “excess amount” mean from the previous credit card invoice?

During a credit period, you can deposit more cash in the account than the credit actually being used. Therefore, the amount rolls over to the next period.


Q: Does this mean the total can be a positive amount?

Yes, if you deposit more cash then you spend during that period, the total can be a positive amount or zero. In other words, the user will have zero amount due.


Q: If I have zero amount due, what is the credit card invoice status?

The status is considered paid.


Q: What kind of status can I have with a “credit card invoice”?

There are 3 types of statuses:

  • Issued: When it reaches the end of the credit period.

  • Partial paid: When the user has manually and partially paid the invoice amount due.

  • Paid: The amount due has been fully paid by the user.
