This view and setting is only available to users with Admin or Accountant roles.

How to customize the invoice management process


At Moss we understand that two spend processes are never the same. For this reason, we allow you to customise your invoice management process in Moss to make sure it meets the requirements and structure of your organisation.

  1. Click on "Settings" > "Invoices"

  2. Go through the steps and customize the flow to your liking. The steps reflect the way an invoice moves through Moss.


These settings are available to customise your invoice management flow:

Submitters can edit details after submission:

Allow submitters to edit all details (such as Chart of Accounts, Suppliers, VAT rates, Cost Centres and Cost Carriers) after they submitted the invoice.

Enable the "Verify" step

The verify step is useful when you need to choose specific employees to verify invoices individually or by supplier.

Edit details after that have been reviewed

Give approvers or accountants & admins the possibility to edit accounting details even after they have been reviewed.

Enable Pay with Moss

Manage invoice payments to make sure your suppliers are always paid on time. Easily track the payment status of all your invoices in Moss, visible both in the invoice tables and in the invoice side panel, and leverage the different means of payment offered by Moss to settle your invoices.

Accounting details can be edited after they have been approved

Edit if accountants & admins can only view accounting details or edit them after they have been approved.
