Noticing a threat and acting upon it is as important as knowing about the threat. Here are some tips to notice such threats:
Limit the use of Search engines to access our platform
Make sure you always use https://getmoss.com/app to access our platform
Bookmark https://getmoss.com/app if you intend to redirect frequently, instead of using search engines.
Pay attention to the address bar and see if it starts with https. Watch out for incorrect URLs. The correct URL is https://getmoss.com/app.
Check if the domain name seems suspicious.
Keep an eye out for unexpected or repeated disconnections. This can be a sign of attack attempts (e.g. cyberattacks)
Watch out for poor grammar or spelling mistakes in the emails. These are usually the case of phishing attempts.
Look out for signs of urgency. If the message says “IMPORTANT” or "EMERGENCY".
In case of an email, check if it is coming from a reliable source.
