Who can top up a Moss Debit wallet
Only Admins can access the account details needed to top up your Debit wallet or trigger a top-up via open banking.
How can you top up a Moss Debit wallet
Admins can top up the Debit wallet as follows:
Go to "Company Overview" > "Available balance" > "Add funds".
Depending on your company's registration country different top up methods may be available to you. Choose your preferred top up method to add funds to your Debit wallet:
Top up via bank transfer: you can transfer funds to your Debit wallet from your bank via a bank transfer. The account details are shown to you in the option "Deposit manually"
For EEA customers: you can now instantly top up your wallet with up to €100,000 per top up using SEPA Instant. Simply trigger a SEPA Instant bank transfer from your online banking and your top up will typically arrive on your Debit wallet within seconds. In some cases your bank may limit the maximum amount of a SEPA Instant transfer to below €100,000. In that case if you need funds available instantly we suggest you make multiple SEPA Instant top ups up to the amount supported by your house bank.
Note: Please transfer funds from a business bank account held in the name of your company and always use the correct payment reference. Credit Transfers from personal bank accounts or accounts belonging to other legal entities will not be accepted.
Top up via open banking: if you are a German customer you can top up from your bank account via open banking without leaving Moss. Select "Deposit via Open Banking", choose the bank you want to make the top up from and enter the amount of the top-up before proceeding with the process.
Note: If you want funds to instantly be available in your Debit wallet please top up via SEPA Instant or FPS bank transfer. Top-ups via open banking can take up to 1-2 business days until funds are available in your Debit wallet
How long does a top up take?
How long a top up takes to arrive on your Debit wallet depends on the method used to make the top up.

What happens if my account balance runs out?
If your account balance runs out, you won't be able to spend any money on Moss anymore.
To prevent this, you can easily transfer money into your Moss account. This process differs depending on what Moss subscription (Moss Debit, Moss Credit) you have.
