Who can change card limits

Admins can change the card limits for all cards. However, these changes are subject to internal company approval processes for final implementation.

All other users can request limit changes for their own cards which then can be approved by the responsible person. This includes both individual and project cards, ensuring users can address varying spending needs.

How to change a card limit

Card limits can either be made lower or higher for less or more resources on your card.

  1. Click on โ€œCardsโ€

  2. Select the card that you want to change the limit for

  3. Under 'Spending controls' > click on "Edit"

  4. There you can adjust the card limits to your liking > click on "Save"

  5. Go the through the 2-factor authentication process. Once everything has been done, the card will be ready to go with the new limit.

If you aren't the card owner but an Admin, the card owner will get a message about the updated limit and will need to approve it. For clarity, card limit changes are not approved or declined by Moss. They are processed directly by you within the requirements of the approval workflows set up in your Moss account.

Internal Approval Workflow

Card limit increases must go through internal company processes. Moss provides the structure for managing spending, but final approvals are determined internally within your organization.
