Who can invite new users?


Once SSO has been enabled, only Admins are able to invite new users to use SSO.

How to invite new users to use SSO


Currently, you need to invite users also in the Moss app (Team and Role needs to be specified).

When the SSO is configured, you can invite your users via the typical method.

The user will see the “SSO” button in their invitation email. If no SSO session is created yet, they would see either the Microsoft or Google login screen.

After the authentication, the Moss app will be shown.

If a session is terminated after 1 hour of inactivity, the user needs to click the SSO link in the invitation email to be authenticated again.

Add phone number so users can use the Moss App with SSO:

Please make sure that your users add their phone number after they logged in at Moss as soon as possible, since they are using SSO and this is not part of their registration process. If the phone number is not added, they won't be able to use the Moss App.

Entering the phone number is possible for 180 days after initial login.

If this is not the case, you have to send us all phone numbers with the corresponding profile to support@getmoss.com.
