Only Admins are able to invite users to a multi entity setup.

How to add users to a second entity


You can create a multi-entity user by inviting a new user to the second organization.

  1. Navigate to the second enitity

  2. Go to "User Management"

  3. Invite the user you want to add to the second entity

There are two scenarios that can happen when inviting a user to a second entity.

Scenario A:

You invite a user with the same email address, that the user is already using in the first entity.

Once the user activated their account, they will be able to use a single email and password to log in to both accounts. Additionally, they will be able to easily switch between the accounts without having to enter 2-factor authentication repeatedly.

Scenario B:

You invite a user with a different email address, than the user is using in the first entity.

Once the user activated their account, they will have two accounts. The user will need to login to each profile every time and they can't switch entities easily.

To give a user the possibility to easily use both entities, an admin needs to invite the user to the first entity (create a second account for the same user) again but needs to invite the user with the same email that is used in the second entity. Only when the same email is being used will we be able to recognize the two accounts as one person.

Once there are two accounts, an admin can transfer all virtual cards to the new account. Physical cards can't be transferred and need to be created again.

When all cards have been moved to the new account the admin can delete the account with the email that is not used in the users account in the other entity.
