This article describes how to setup Exact Online to enable projects functionality and how to use it in Moss.
In addition to standard dimensions (Cost centers and Cost categories) Moss also supports Projects functionality in Exact Online.
Exact Online setup
There's no additional steps needed to be performed to enable the 'Projects' functionality. Please refer to the standard setup flow.
Adding Projects in Moss
To add Projects to Moss, navigate to "Settings" > "Accounting" > "Dimensions" tab.
Click "Add / Import dimension" button and select Projects.
Synchronisation starts automatically. On this page you can mark unnecessary projects as "inactive", in this case Moss will not be trying to resynchronise marked items automatically.
An overview shows you a list of imported dimensions and the number of active items in each of them.
Now, when exporting spend, you can specify 'Projects' on a side drawer.
