Setting up custom dimensions in Moss
This section also applies to the Projects and Billable expenses functionality. For Projects we need to add a specific dimension called Project that contains a list of projects you need to manage. For billable expenses we need a list of customers to attribute costs to.
To add a specific dimension, navigate to "Settings" > "Accounting" > "Dimensions" and click "Add / Import dimension" button.
Give a name to the dimension you want to add
Once you click the "Save" button, you will be automatically forwarded to a page where you can specify particular dimension items (in our case it's projects).
You can add items manually or use a CSV template to upload items in bulk.
To upload items in bulk, use the Upload CSV functionality (you may download a template to fill in advance).
Once you are ready with the CSV template you have to...
... click the "Upload CSV" button and review items to be uploaded
