Q: What's the difference between Moss credit and Moss debit? Which product do I use?

Moss Debit

With Moss Debit, you simply have to deposit funds into your Moss account.

Moss Debit utilizes direct settlement and deducts from your available funds immediately after a payment is made.

No risk assessment is required since you deposit your own funds into the Moss account.

This way, you can

  • set your own limits

  • and start spending immediately after your deposited funds arrive.

Moss Credit

Moss Credit customers are granted a certain credit limit and longer payment terms (up to 60 days).

In order to find out whether you are eligible for Moss Credit, a risk assessment has to be conducted.

During this risk assessment, the credit limit will be determined and you can start

spending as soon as the risk assessment is concluded.

It is possible to switch from Moss Debit to Moss Credit. However, different eligibility criteria will apply.
