Step 2: Top up your wallet

Learn how to top up your account if you are a Moss Debit customer so you can have more available funds to your disposal.

Note: If you are a credit customer you can skip this step and continue with Step 3: Connect your HR Software.

There are two ways to top up your wallet:

  • Deposit manually (SEPA transfer from your bank)

  • Pay via open banking

Option 1: Deposit manually (SEPA transfer from your bank)

  1. Go to Company overview > Available funds > Add funds

  2. Choose Deposit manually and copy the bank account details.

  3. Head over to your company bank account and use the account details you just copied to initiate a transfer.

Note: This process initiates a wire transfer that takes 1-2 business days until your funds arrive at Moss. Once the funds have arrived, you can start spending with Moss.

Option 2: Pay via open banking

  1. First you need to Connect your bank account with Moss. with Moss. Go to Settings > Bank Accounts > Add bank account or click here.

  2. Select the bank you want to connect and click Continue.

  3. Click Login and you will be forwarded to your bank's website. Please login following instructions provided by your bank.

  4. Your bank account is connected now. You can add any additional bank accounts following the same steps.

  5. Go to Company overview > Available funds > Add funds

  6. Choose Pay via open banking, select your connected bank account, enter the amount and click on Pay Now.

Note: This process initiates a wire transfer that takes 1-2 business days until your funds arrive at Moss. Once the funds have arrived, you can start spending with Moss.

FAQs

When does it make sense to "pay early" in Moss Credit?

If you already used up all your credit limit you are able to pay early and reset your credit limit for your statement period.

This way you can make sure that you are always able to use the Moss platform even if you have utilized your credit limit.

How long does a top up take?

If the payment was sent to us as a standard SEPA credit transfer, it should usually take 1-3 business days for us to receive the funds, but there might be exceptions (payment stuck in random KYC checks at the bank, etc.).

Who is Transaction Payment Malta Limited (TPML)? Are my funds safe with TPML?

Transact Payments Malta Limited (TPML) is a financial institution duly authorised and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority under the Financial Institutions Act 1994 and registered under registration number C 91879.

Simply put, TPML is the issuer of your Moss cards.

Only TPML can access the account and may only do so to the extent required for settling transactions you performed with your Moss cards.

Simply put, yes your funds are safe with TPML.
