Who can log in to Moss with SSO and an existing Moss account
Anyone can log in to Moss with SSO even if they already created an account with Moss. SSO simply needs to be enabled and then you can use it to log in to Moss.
How to log in to Moss with an existing Moss account
First, your company needs to enable SSO for your Moss platform. Once this is done, your old login data and SSO login data will be merged together, and you will be able to access your old data with SSO.
Existing users can log in to Moss via the login page. There they have to click on the SSO button.
If no SSO session is created yet on the device they are currently using, the Microsoft or Google login screen will be shown to the user.
Open the login screen > “Sign in with Single Sign-On (SSO)”.
Type in your company email > “Sign in” > Choose your account and enter your corporate email.
You will be forwarded to the correct login screen and need to fill out the relevant information.
You will no longer be able to log in with your old login data you created with Moss.
What to do if you are logging in with SSO for the first time
If you are a new Moss users you will receive an email invitation sent by your Admin.
Open the invitation and click on “Set up your account” which will lead you to the login page and click on "Sign in with Single Sign-On (SSO)".
Choose your account and confirm.
Confirm the privacy policy
Please put in your phone number into your Moss profile. Without your phone number, you won't be able to use the Moss App as an SSO user.
Your phone number can be added up until 180 days after initial registration.

How can SSO users use the Moss mobile app
Any Moss user regardless of their login method can use our Moss mobile app on their phone - perfect for occasions on the go!

How can SSO user use the Moss mobile app and set their device as a trusted device
Log in to your account on getmoss.com in the web browser
Select the “mobile app” button in the side navigation to start the Moss mobile app configuration process
In the web browser, you need to generate an SMS activation code that will be sent to your phone number.
Now open up the Moss app on your phone and click on “Continue with SSO” on the login page.
Enter your email and the activation code that has been sent to you in an SMS. A verification code will be sent to your email.
Open up your emails, get the verification code and enter it into the Moss app.
Now you need to set a passcode with which you will be able to access your own Moss app in the future.
Why do SSO users have a different configuration process?
When using SSO, your corporate identity provider (IdP) takes care of managing your user account. At Moss, we are connecting to that IdP when your organization has SSO enabled.
