Who can change the password
Active users can change their own password.
Note: You cannot change the password of other users.
How to change your password
For active users
As an active user, you can change your password on Moss's web browser application, both on a computer and on your mobile device. You can't change the password using Moss's mobile application. You can do this as follows:
Go to the Moss "Login" page on getmoss.com in your browser on a computer or your mobile device and click "Forgot password?".
Enter your email address and confirm by clicking "Reset password".
If there is a Moss account associated with the e-mail you entered, you will receive an e-mail from "noreply@getmoss.com", with a link to reset your password. If you click on the link, you can set a new password and confirm via "Set password".
Afterwards, your password is reset and can be used to log in.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
1. Redirected Back to Login Page
Some users report being redirected to the login page when attempting to reset their password. This issue often arises when using tablets or mobile devices. To resolve this:
Use a desktop or laptop computer to access the password reset form.
2. Reset Attempts via the Mobile App
Password resets can't be initiated through the mobile app. The password reset process must be completed on a web browser using a computer or mobile device.
3. Using Password Managers
If you have used a password manager in the past, check if your Moss password is saved there before initiating the reset process. This can sometimes save you from creating a new password unnecessarily.
Additional Tips
Security Consideration: Ensure you use a secure email address to receive the reset link and never share it with others.
