Who can change a platform role
Only Admins are able to change the role of a user.

How to change a platform role
Follow these steps to assign a role to a user. You can find more information below on how to give somebody an Admin role.
Open the Moss platform.
Select "User management" > Go to the tab "Users" > Select a user
In the section "Roles & permissions" in the row "Role" click on "Edit"
Select the role you want to give the user and save
How to give users the "Admin" role
Admins can now grant admin role to other users directly from 'Settings' → 'Users' with no need to contact support.
Requirements:
You must be an Admin
You must have the Moss mobile app activated
At least 1 business day must have passed since your last mobile app activation (security cooldown)
Steps:
Select 'User management' > go to the 'Users' tab
Select the user you want to give the Admin role
In the section "Roles & permissions" in the row "Role" click on "Edit"
Select the 'Admin' role and save
Confirm the action on your mobile app using your PIN
Done. The user now has Admin access
What happens after:
The promoted user receives an email and push notification confirming their new role
You (the acting admin) receive a confirmation email
Other admins in your organisation will see a summary in the 'Updates' panel on the dashboard
Security note: If you receive an email saying an admin role was granted from your account and you did not perform this action, contact support immediately at support@getmoss.com.
How to remove the "Admin" role
Removing the Admin role (admin → user) is currently not available as a self-serve action. If you need to change an admin back to a regular user, please contact us at support@getmoss.com.
