Who can connect Moss to Slack
Admins and internal accountants are able to connect the Moss platform to Slack.
What can the Slack integration do?
Once connected, Moss can:
Collect missing receipts via the Receipt Agent in Slack DMs
Learn more about the Receipt Agent
AI notice: The Receipt Agent uses AI to match receipts and automate follow-ups; results may be inaccurate. Please review in Moss before relying on it for accounting/compliance.
Send Slack notifications for events that need attention (e.g. invoice approvals/rejections, review/verification requests, comments/changes, card requests, transaction updates)
Post a channel summary listing employees with missing receipts and the number of missing receipts per person (if configured)
Additionally, Moss can create and send a list to a Slack channel with all the users that are missing a receipt and the amount of missing receipts per person.

Go to "Settings" > "Notifications".
In the Slack section, click "Connect" next to your Slack user mapping.
Follow the steps to link your Slack user profile.
Once connected, Moss can send Slack notifications. Once the Receipt Agent is enabled by an Admin or Internal Accountant, it can also DM you to collect missing receipts.
